Jenna is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Simon Fraser University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts with a major in psychology and a minor in counselling and human development.

For the past 2.5 years, Jenna has worked as an elementary school teacher in the Lower Mainland, instructing students from kindergarten through grade 7. Her teaching experience has involved working with a diverse range of students, which has highlighted the crucial role educators play in children's development. Additionally, Jenna has gained valuable experience through her work and volunteer efforts with non-profit organizations, where she has supported children and teenagers dealing with challenges such as intergenerational trauma, acculturation stress, and abuse. These experiences have deepened her understanding of the importance of social-emotional learning and trauma-informed practices.

Inspired by her teaching and non-profit work, Jenna is dedicated to developing her skills as a school counselor. Her goal is to support children in navigating unique challenges within an educational setting, adopting a client-centered approach that ensures a safe and non-judgmental environment. Jenna is committed to joining individuals on their path to well-being and empowerment.
